Core Beliefs
Victory Chapel accepts the Scriptures as the revealed will of God and the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice. Our core beliefs, doctrine, teaching, and ministries are based upon the inspired Scriptural truths found in the Bible. These Statements of Faith & Doctrine do not exhaust the extent of our faith. The Bible itself is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, and is the sole and final source of all we believe.
One True God
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent I AM, the Creator of the universe, and the Redeemer of mankind (Deuteronomy 6:4, Exodus 3:14, Isaiah 43:10-11).
God has further revealed Himself as a triune being: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit, being perfectly unified, identical in essence, equal in divinity, each executing distinct, but harmonious offices.
(Isaiah 48:16, Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22, Ephesians 2:18, John 1:1-3)

(Isaiah 48:16, Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22, Ephesians 2:18, John 1:1-3)
Inspiration of Scripture
All scripture, both the Old and New Testaments, is verbally inspired by God, and is an inerrant revelation of God to man. They are the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
(2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 1 Peter 1:19-21)
(2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 1 Peter 1:19-21)
Diety Of The Lord Jesus Christ
The LORD Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and, as such, shares in the divinity and deity of God.
(Matthew 1:23, I John 5:7, 2 John 3, Hebrews 1:1-3)
(Matthew 1:23, I John 5:7, 2 John 3, Hebrews 1:1-3)
Original Sin And The Fall Of Man
Man was created good and upright, for God said, "Let us make man in Our image, after Our likeness..."
The first man, Adam, fell from the grace of God through disobedience and rebellion. Thus, sin entered into the world and death by sin. Adam's transgression incurred not only physical death for man, but also spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God.
Man's inclination to sin is because of his sinful nature and necessitates salvation from the power of sin and a Savior to provide that salvation.
(Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 2:1-17, 3:4-6, Romans 7:13-25)

Salvation Of Man
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a sinless life and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers us the free gift of eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone. Man's only hope of redemption and salvation from the power of sin is through the shed blood of the LORD Jesus Christ.

The Church And It's Mission
The Church is the Body of Christ, and as the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, it should expect divine appointments to share the gospel of Jesus Christ for the fulfillment of His Great Commission. Each believer born of the Spirit is an integral part of the general assembly and the Church of the Firstborn, which was written in heaven. (Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:19-22, Hebrews 12:22-24)
We believe Christian believers are divinely called and are the chosen instruments of God for the furtherance of God's kingdom upon the earth, including world evangelism, the nurturing of Christians, and the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, thereby building the Body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-16, I Corinthians 12:28, Matthew 28:19-29, Mark 16:15-16, Acts 1:8)
Since God's purpose concerning man is to seek and to save all who are lost, and to build a body of believers in the image of His Son, it is the responsibility of the Christian believers to be ambassadors of Christ and to function in the ministry of reconciliation by sharing the word of reconciliation calling on the lost to repent and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. (II Corinthians 5:18-20)

Water Baptism
The ordinance of baptism by immersion in water is commanded in the scriptures. All who repent of their sins and believe in Christ as Savior and LORD are to be baptized. This is a declaration to the world that they identify with Christ in His death and have been raised with Him in newness of life.
(Matthew 18:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 10:47-48, Romans 6:4)
(Matthew 18:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 10:47-48, Romans 6:4)
Holy Communion
Holy Communion, consisting of the sacraments of unleavened bread and the cup of the fruit of the vine, is an intimate participation in covenant partnership with the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (I Corinthians 10:16)
Personal Communion brings a greater manifestation of God’s abiding presence and nurtures the eternal life of God in us, allowing us to embrace the promises and blessings of the Abrahamic Covenant. It strengthens individual believers and local congregations, making them more effective in their witness of Jesus Christ as Lord.
(John 6:48-58, 1 Corinthians 11:23-30, Acts 2:42-47)

Baptism Of The Holy Spirit
We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire is for all believers today. All believers are entitled to and should expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service for the work of the ministry. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is how He empowers believers, and it is available to all who ask.

Divine Healings & Miracles
Divine healing was provided for in the Old and New Testaments. (Psalms 103:1-3, Isaiah 53:4-5) It was completed and solidified in the broken body of Jesus Christ on the Cross. Healings and miracles are an integral part of the Gospel, and every believer may receive healing when they receive the bread of communion. Healing and miracles are done in the name of Jesus, by the laying on of hands, anointing with oil, and through the gifts of the Spirit.
(Mark 16:17-18, Acts 5:16, James 5:14-16, Acts 4:10, I Corinthians 11:24, I Peter 2:24, Acts 8:5-8, I Corinthians 12:7-10).
(Mark 16:17-18, Acts 5:16, James 5:14-16, Acts 4:10, I Corinthians 11:24, I Peter 2:24, Acts 8:5-8, I Corinthians 12:7-10).
Five-Fold Ministries In The Church Today
We believe in the divinely called, commissioned, and equipped five-fold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers as given to the Church by the Lord Jesus Christ after His ascension. These five gifts and the accompanying graces are greatly needed today to more fully equip believers for the work of the ministry and for the edification of the body of Christ. This God-given structure must be implemented to enhance the pastor-only church model and better equip the saints. We further believe that all Christians are called to be ambassadors for Christ and that all believers have been given the ministry of reconciliation. (Ephesians 4:11-13, I Corinthians 12:28, Ephesians 2:20-22, 2 Corinthians 5:20)
Biblical Definition of Marriage & Sexuality
We believe that marriage sanctioned by God joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as stated in scripture (Genesis 2:21-24). God created a place for sexual intimacy through marriage between one man and one woman. Although culture and customs have varied in their definitions of marriage, God alone has the ultimate authority over marriage relationships for believers.
We believe that any form of sexual immorality, such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, pornography, or any attempt to change one's sex, or disagreement with one's biological sex, is sinful and offensive to God.
Though sexual immorality is sinful, the Gospel provides redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin and receive love and forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ.
(Hebrews 13:4, Galatians 5:19-21, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

Worship
We believe that the whole purpose of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him and His presence forever. Therefore, we believe in the act of worshiping God with one's total being as set forth in the Holy Scriptures. (Psalms 150, Ephesians 5:18-21)
Purposefully cultivating a hunger for God's manifest presence and an openness to experiencing the Holy Spirit deepens our friendship with God and our awareness that we carry His presence for the sake of the world. Psalm 16:11, Psalm 73:28, Psalm 95:2, Psalm 107:9
